David Wilson Chief Executive Officer

A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, David has been involved in the automotive industry for over 40 years. He was Vice President/General Manager of Covey Lincoln Mercury in Phoenix, Arizona for five years before coming to Toyota of Orange in 1982.Before buying out the owner of Toyota of Orange in 1985, he was the Vice President and General Manager. Mr. Wilson is now the Owner and President of sixteen automobile dealerships - employing nearly 2,000 people. Sales for these corporations now total just under $2 billion annually, making the Wilson Automotive one of the ten largest dealership chains in the nation.As a 1999 Governor Davis appointee, David continues to serve on the California New Motor Vehicle Board as its Past President. Other Boards of Directors on which David has served are the American International Automobile Association, California Motor Car Dealers Association, Orange County Motor Cars Dealers Association, and the Southern California Toyota Dealers Advertising Association.

Renald T. RooneyChairman

Ren graduated from DePaul University, Chicago, in 1972 with a B.A. in Political Science. Immediately following graduation he went to work for Chrysler Corporation, where he held numerous positions in Chicago, Cleveland and Kansas City.In 1980 Ren was recruited by Toyota Motor Sales USA to work as the Market Representation Manager in their Chicago Region. He quickly moved up to the position of Field Operations Manager. In 1983 Ren was transferred to the national headquarters for Toyota and worked there until 1984, when he was promoted to Assistant General Manager of the Los Angeles Region.In January of 1985 Ren became the General Manager of the Denver Region. There he was responsible for 68 dealers in 7 states. He was then promoted to the much larger Chicago Region in the same capacity in 1987.

Craig T. Whetter President

A third-generation automotive professional, Craig was born and raised in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Both his father and grandfather worked for Ford Motor Company for 40 and 45 years respectively.Craig has been in the automotive business for over 40 years, beginning his career working for a local Chevrolet – Cadillac dealer. Craig held positions in the parts, service and sales departments as he worked through his four-year degree at Northwood University. This "real-life" retail dealership experience, combined with his three degrees in business, automotive marketing and advertising (with a minor in accounting) provided him a strong background in the retail automotive industry.

Vikki L. MurphyExecutive Vice President

Vikki is a graduate of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, with her undergraduate degree in communications, emphasis public relations.Following graduation from college, Vikki accepted a position as assistant administrator of Lakeview Hospital in Lake County, California. There she worked closely with members of the community to obtain funding for a new medical facility.Vikki relocated to Sacramento, California, where she accepted the position of Director of Marketing for CableData, Inc. She was the first female and the youngest employee to hold this position.Vikki has been a member of the Wilson Automotive organization for over twenty years, beginning when their only dealership was Toyota of Orange. Since that time the organization has expanded to include sixteen dealerships throughout Southern California, Arizona and Mexico.

Glenn Quintos Chief Operations Officer

Glenn Quintos is the Chief Operations Officer of Wilson Automotive. He is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara with an undergraduate mathematics and economics degree. In May 2007, he received his MBA from Chapman University as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.Prior to joining Wilson Automotive, Glenn was interim CFO/Controller for several small to medium-size businesses located in Southern California. He worked on an outsource basis for Montgomery Financial Services Corporation. Prior to working at MFSC, he was the controller for a telecommunications company based in California. He assisted in expanding the company over 300% in a six-year time frame. In addition to being responsible for the financial administration of the business, he was an integral part of the sales and operations organization as well.

Shelly JackleyChief Financial Officer

Shelly Jackley has joined the Wilson team as Chief Financial Officer following the promotion of Glenn Quintos to Chief Operating Officer. Shelly comes to us from LSL CPA's, who has served as the Wilson organization's auditing firm for over 25 years.Shelly is a graduate of CSU Fullerton, with a Bachelor's degree in business administration, emphasis in finance. She received her MBA from CSUF in 2001 and became licensed as a CPA in 2006.Over the past 13 years she has primarily served LSL's automotive clientele, and was made a partner with the firm in 2010. In addition, as the firm's IT Director, Shelly was responsible for overseeing the IT services provided to clients, as well as developing and directing the firm's IT strategic initiatives.

Frank RomanoCorporate Training & Dev

Frank Romano began his automotive career in 1960 working with a company in Detroit, Michigan, that manufactured reconditioning products for used vehicles. He was promoted to sales manager, spent two years serving his country in the U.S. Army and then returned to work for this same organization.In 1971 he was hired by Toyota Motor Sales USA as their National Used Vehicle Administrator. He remained with Toyota in numerous capacities for six years.In 1977 Frank became the vice president and general manager of Earle Ike Toyota and Volvo until he acquired a business interest in Nissan of Garden Grove in 1985. He was the owner and president at this dealership for three years.

Bob Wyrick Parts & Service Departments

Bob Wyrick is a 35-year veteran of the automotive business. He has been personally involved in every aspect of the parts and service departments – from inventory control to technician to wholesale, to the responsibility of managing both the parts and service departments.Bob came to the Wilson Automotive in 1982 as a parts manager. Since that time his responsibilities have expanded to include overseeing the operations of the parts and service departments of all 16 dealerships.Mr. Wyrick is personally involved in developing, maintaining and assessing parts and service programs and processes as they relate to our dealerships. He also provides the organization with expertise in OSHA, safety and hazardous waste compliance programs. This is critical due to the proliferation of regulatory agencies and the laws relating to the automotive industry.
